about

The focus of this EP is exploring the sounds of the DX11 synthesizer in a simple and effective manner. All of the tracks were recorded live and only single takes were used. This was done because I wanted to focus on creating sounds and ideas. Each of the tracks is essentially an extention of an idea with a certain sound, played out and recorded straight away.

Gear used:
Yamaha DX11, MFB Tanzbär lite, Eurorack modular system (mostly Erica synths DIY Multimode VCF & Pico DSP), Arturia keystep.
Recorded as stereo out into Ableton Live 9.
